Rapt Gifts: Serially

A workshop-like performance and part of Homestretch Art, a festival of artistic acts in Madison, WI during the summer of 2021.

Found objects and printed patterns on paper are provided as materials for a gift exchange. We talked about gifts and shared stories while wrapping items, then exchanged them with one another and brought them home. Participants took photos of the objects in their new environments. To start the second meeting returning participants set their gifts around a living, breathing gift in the park. The exchange began with the artist being unwrapped.
